Michelle Supsic, Dipl. Ac., LAc, MAc.,

As an Acupuncturist, Michelle is licensed through the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine and certified nationally as an NCCAOM Diplomate of Acupuncture.  She earned a Master in Acupuncture Studies degree with Distinction from The Won Institute of Graduate Studies, and a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology from West Chester University.

Michelle incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element, Acupuncture Physical Medicine and orthopedic needling techniques into her treatments. She also uses moxabustion, cupping, gua sha and e-stim. Michelle offers Acupuncture Mini Facials and Facial Rejuvenation.

Michelle is a lifelong learner. She holds a 500-hour yoga teacher/therapeutic yoga certification from Amma Yanni Yoga Center and School and has also completed 165 hours of Yin Yoga teacher training and apprenticeship. She has taught Yin Yoga since 2012.  Michelle is certified in Reiki and Integrated Energy Therapy, and is trained in chakra balancing.

Along the way, Michelle has studied Mindfulness and other forms of meditation, including over 100 hours of meditation studies at Won Institute.  She teaches mindfulness and movement to companies who are looking to foster wellness and connection among employees. 

Michelle has 30 years of experience in market research.  She was Vice President and Team Lead for Adelphi Research, where she specialized in the pharmaceutical industry.  An expert in quantitative research, she has particular expertise in providing input to new product planning, clinical trial design, and demand for various therapies.

This blend of Eastern Medicine training and a long history in the business side of Western Medicine give Michelle a unique perspective on healthcare. Her love of research enables her to dive deep into understanding how acupuncture works, and she keeps herself up-to-date with the latest research and proven treatment strategies.

When she isn’t in her Acupuncture clinic, Michelle enjoys traveling with her husband Marc, spending time with friends and family, gardening, cooking and going to concerts.

NCCAOM Diplomate Badge

A Diplomate of Acupuncture is an acupuncturist who is certified by the NCCAOM®. It is a considerable professional achievement to earn the designation Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM®). NCCAOM® Certification indicates to employers, patients, and peers that one has met national standards for the safe and competent practice of acupuncture as defined by the acupuncture profession. National board certification in acupuncture has been the hallmark of excellence since the inception of the NCCAOM® Acupuncture Certification Program in 1982.

E-RYT500, Experienced Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher. Yoga teachers whose training and teaching experience meet Yoga Alliance Standards can earn this credential. RYTs must complete training with a Registered Yoga School and keep current with Continuing Education.
