Wellness, simplified.

Patients sometimes feel like they have “too many” conditions and symptoms, or that their symptoms are unrelated to one another.  Or maybe you have tried other treatments and nothing seems to help. With Acupuncture, we look at you as a whole person and work to get to the root cause of your experience.

What should you expect from your sessions? Read below for more information.

Customized Treatments

During each visit, we will talk about the issues you are experiencing at the time of treatment.  I’ll listen to what you have to say and then craft a treatment plan specifically for you—based on my extensive training as well as the latest research, real-world data, clinical experience and thousands of years of empirical (observed) data.

Acupuncture Doesn’t Cure Everything.

I wish I could say it does, but that simply isn’t true.  During your appointments, we’ll talk about what this medicine may do for you, and what is outside of its reach.  Each person responds differently and therefore treatment results may vary.  The good news is that acupuncture has been demonstrated to help with many conditions, some of which are listed here

Getting Ready for Your Session

  • Before your first appointment, you can fill out your intake and consent forms online. Check your confirmation e-mail for access to the forms.

  • Be sure to have something light to eat about an hour before your appointment, and make sure you are hydrated.

  • Please wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing.  There are acupuncture points all over the body, so we may need to access points (for example) above the knee or on the upper back.  Racer back tank tops, shorts, wide-legged pants, and stretchy pants can help.

  • If you are healthy, wearing a mask is optional. If you are sick with a respiratory infection, cold, virus, etc., please wear a mask during your appointment. If you have had a high risk exposure to the Flu or Covid during the past 7 days, please wear a mask.

  • Feel free to ask questions during your treatments! I love talking about acupuncture, and also want to make sure that all of your questions are answered.
