National Infertility Awareness Week

This week is National Infertility Awareness Week.

1 in 8 couples will experience infertility at some point in their journey. That’s a lot of people. Acupuncturists see you and are here to help you. It is important to know:

  • Both women and men experience infertility, it isn’t just a women’s issue

  • Reducing stress is helpful, but there is much more to infertility than just lowering stress

  • Irregular periods aren’t normal, they deserve attention

  • If you have irregular periods, endometriosis, PCOS, ovarian cysts or other conditions, seek help sooner rather than later

  • IVF isn’t an automatic choice for some couples, and once a couple makes that choice, it can be difficult emotionally and physically.

We can all change the narrative about infertility and support people who experience infertility.

Acupuncture helps to promote fertility by treating underlying conditions, balancing hormones, calming the nervous system, and much more. If you are struggling with infertility, help is available with both Western and Eastern medicine. Acupuncturists help people with their infertility on a regular basis. If you’re looking for help, you can book an appointment here on my website, or give me a call if you have questions.
